Aisha Jamila Hinds is a popular American actor. Her most well-known role is the roles she played in TV series The Shield, and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated on TV in shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she made her debut acting in 2003. Anna's performance as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major break. It was however her role as the women's rights campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actor. Hind was praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground.
